I originally qualified as a carpenter in Victoria and spent over a decade working across all kinds of residential building and carpentry projects before making the move to the Noosa Hinterland. Living in a tropical environment where moisture and mould are a constant issue really changed the way I looked at building materials and finishes.

I started becoming drawn to textured renders, Venetian plaster and more natural-style finishes — not just because they look amazing, but because they bring warmth, depth and character to a space in a way flat painted walls never really can. I love that textured finishes tell a story and make a space feel lived in, grounded and unique.

Wanting to learn more, I trained alongside my cousin at @bwl_venetian_plastering, where I developed my skills in rendering and decorative finishes while combining them with my background in carpentry and construction.

These days I’m happy offering individual services or bringing everything together — combining carpentry, rendering and textured finishes to help create spaces that feel intentional, practical and full of character. Whether it’s a small feature wall, a bathroom renovation, custom carpentry or a full transformation, I enjoy creating spaces that actually feel good to be in.
